Rodrigo Moreno is an Ontario Canada-based corporate and documentary photographer
with over three decades of experience capturing powerful visual narratives that connect
people, place, and purpose. His diverse client portfolio includes Ontario Tourism,
GlucksteinHome, the City of Toronto, and Scholastic Canada, with projects taking him
across Canada and around the world.

Rooted in community-based storytelling, Moreno has spent more than 30 years
documenting life in Lawrence Heights, the Toronto neighbourhood where he was raised.
This long-term body of work has been acquired by the City of Toronto Archives and was
featured in The Local, The Picture Man, an editorial feature that earned him a National
Magazine Award nomination in portrait photography. He is currently working on a
second installment of this collection and was recently shortlisted for a public art
commission for the upcoming Lawrence Heights community recreational centre.

Beyond his photography practice, Moreno is deeply committed to youth empowerment
through the arts. He founded a photography club in Lawrence Heights and has led
creative collaborations with communities in Peru and across Toronto. His work has been
featured in the award-winning documentary Shift Focus, exhibited during the Contact
Photography Festival, and supported by numerous arts grants and institutions.

preservation, and social change.
